ACT!

SCOTTSDALE, AZ – June 25, 2002
–ACT!TM, the best-selling contact manager from Interact Commerce, today announced that a new version of ACT! will be delivered later this summer. The new product will include over 50 new features and a sneak peek is being shown this week at TechXNY/PCExpo in New York.
During the lifecycle of ACT! 5.0, over 5,000 corporate accounts have been added as customers and the installed based of users has grown to over 12,000 corporations and four million individual users. In addition, ACT! has earned awards and distinctions such as PC Magazine’s Editors’ Choice Award, PC World’s World Class Award, Winmag’s WinList, Winmag.com’s Win100 Award, the Top 100 from Computer Shopper, Computer Current’s Readers Choice Award, Yippee Shareware’s 5-Star Rating, the Smart Business A-List and MVP Awards, and the Willy Award for Best SOHO CRM Solution.
“As a reseller of accounting software, we use ACT! to track our leads from origination to close, to track the modules owned by our existing clients so we can market and sell to our install base, and to track our implementation projects,” said Aaron Huckstep of Huckstep & Associates, LLC. “We have been able to completely customize ACT! and in doing so we have decreased time spent on administrative tasks and increased our sales tremendously. ACT! is so closely tied with how we run our business that I don’t know how we could survive without it! We are really excited about the next version and can’t wait to try it out.”
